Soundwave!!

I'm leaving this Friday for Soundwave! I'm so super excited. I love summer music festivals, dancing, beaches and friends. I've never been to a 3 day festival on the beach before, it should be interesting.
It's going to be a great time. I"ll post some pics as soon as I can.

I love my friends. My friends are lovely, wonderful, helpful, silly, ridiculous people who make my life what it is.
Friendship is something that requires time, and effort, and patience, and understanding. It's so worthwhile to invest all of this and more into a friendship.
I'm so glad I have my friends in my life, I wouldn't change any of you for all of the candy and Black Berries and beer in the whole world.

I'm going to see the Hangover with 2 of my bestests in the whole wide world tonight. I'm excited.

Work's keeping me on my toes lately, I have many new responsibilities...I'm super happy :)
I also have some fun new friends I've been playing with lately :) Life's great.

I am going to clear off my desk and leave a few minutes early, I'll leave you with some pretty clothes to look at :)

Summer in the city....

It's been a while since I've wrote anything, either in this forum or any other. I haven't had much time to sit down and actually process my thoughts... well, I have had a few minutes to do so, and I have come to some major realizations. I rant about my amazing friends, but really they are something else. It was so great to re-connect with some of my G friends in AB, and amazing to get back here and see my friends who I missed even though it had only been a couple days....
This weekend is going to be epic. I'll write somethign more substantial tomorrow, and post some pics of some items I am dreaming of.
one thing, my darling momma gave me a luxury handbag for my birthday, and now I can't help but notice everyone's purses. And I feel posh enough to walk around Holt Renfrews now, hehe.

I'm so proud of her! Growing up she always had such a wonderful talent, there was the most stunning mural in her bedroom she created.....

I am feeling like I need to go somewhere, I have been in the city for too long without a break. Any suggestions on where to go? I'm heading to Canmore to visit Jules (!!!!!!!!) in just 30 short days. YAY.

Finally Spring!

It's a beautiful day in Vancouver! Sunny and warm and there's a really nice warm breeze. It's easy to love my life today, even with all of the chaos that's going on. I'm not in the mood to write, so I'll leave you with a few of my current clothing wishes, from Karmaloop and 80sPurple.

Dream Big...

What's the point in dreaming small?

I remember exactly one year ago today what I was doing, and how I was wishing I was in Vancouver living a different life... and now I am. I dreamed it and made it happen. Of course it took a lot of help from my amazingly wonderful family and friends, but I still took action to make my dreams come true. What are your dreams? I have been able to spend more time lately reflecting on what I want from life and the kind of life I want to be living, and I am taking steps toward having the life I want to lead.

The Junos are in town this weekend, and downtown Vancouver is crazy! There are so many events going on with tons of live music that I really want to see. Also happening is Vancouver Fashion Week, which I would give my left arm to check out... there is a Farmers Market, Portobello West Market, and lots more. Tonight however I am going to chill out with some beer and pizza and watch Raptors and a movie. But tomorrow I am going to shake off the stress of the past couple weeks and let loose.

I'm signing off now, I have other things on my mind and I should apply some focus to them... happy weekend!

Since I can't think of one, that's what you get,hehe.

It's a sunny beautiful day in Vancouver.I'm looking at some beautiful orchids that are on my desk, it's inspiring me to do some decorations in my room this weekend, between working and sleeping. I would also like to do some baking this weekend, maybe some kind of healthy(ish) pie or cake or something. I'm also going to try and dedicate some time to the wonderful new book I've started to read, Animal Vegetable Miracle.
I'm having a movie night with friends tonight, hopefully it gets me out of the pouty mood I seem to be in this week....
